Accounts Semi Senior / Senior
We are looking for a candidate to join our business services team within Newtown. The successful candidate will participate in the preparation of accounts, completion of tax and VAT returns and review work undertaken by less experienced staff.
Responsibilities:
- Producing draft financial statements
- Preparation of tax computations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Complete working papers
- Correspondence with clients and agencies such as the HMRC
- Basic level review of working papers for less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
- Fully or part qualified ACCA or ACA, thought AAT or QBE are encouraged to apply
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using Xero, Quickbooks,
- Effective use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
