Background
Harry owns a business which operates from a large warehouse. As the business grew and expanded into new areas, he found that an extension on the business premises was needed.
Challenge
Harry is struggling to find sufficient funds to enable the company to build the extension. If he could do this in a tax efficient way it would make it more affordable.
What we did
We helped Harry by advising him to top up his existing pension scheme (for which he got tax relief). The Pension Scheme was then used to buy the land and build the extension on the business premises.
The result
The property was now affordable and his pension fund was receiving income from a reliable tenant!
